The Horror Asylum was launched on 31st October 2001, and was the combination of two popular horror sites and was the culmination between the two site creators.

In the Summer of 2001, Steven Davies and Josh Winning, the creators of MASH Horror and the Chiller website respectively, joined forces to create a new one-stop source to feed those hungry horror entertainment mouths. THE HORROR ASYLUM WAS BORN.

Over the past 6 years we have integrated many unique features and have put together the ultimate information source for horror movies. A fully searchable movie database containing over 5000 titles. A movie, DVD, literature, music and video game review section that contains nearly 1000 reviews and is updated frequently. Daily horror related news articles, exclusive interviews, horror television, great competitions and so much more. The Horror Asylum hopes it will continue to serve the huge fanbase of horror fans out there.
