This two disc DVD from Anchor Bay is absolutely choc full of amazing special features and that’s on top of the already hilarious film.

There are two audio commentaries with assorted members of the cast and crew, a whole host of deleted scenes, a very insightful making of entitled ‘Making Out’, the immature ‘Bum – Feeling 101’ a very novel feature entitled ‘Geek Out’ where internet horror critics such as John Fallon dissect their favourite sequences, a 5 minute film school, Zaniac music video, and most importantly you can watch not only the spoof films which feature in the movie but the Blair Witch stage play in its entirety too. If you think that lot will take you a good few hours to trawl through there’s even more crammed on there.

A lot of care and attention has been taken to release the film the way its filmmakers (who are really just horror fans like us) wanted it to be, and quite frankly it deserves it.

Freak Out is a zany and original fun little film that has taken the nation by storm. A must for any horror fans collection. Get it now before it goes global.
