Brad Sykes who has made a name for himself of late with many a cheap horror movie, debuted with this little film that has become something of a
cult classic in some circles.
The plot is simple, four friends take a trip to the mountains for a
weekend and soon live to regret it!
The camp has a history drenched in blood, and the friends soon learn the story of the clown and it isn’t long before they meet him in person.
Absolutely awful in every respect, Sykes has to be admired for carving out a career on the back of this as anyone who has seen it has pissed
themselves laughing!
Whilst the worst aspects by far are the technical ones, (which are usually the only redeeming features in shite films) the acting, story and effects
are terrible also.
Ask any students if they have seen Camp Blood and they will say ‘oh, that film about the clown’ and I still see teens renting this on Friday nights
almost five years after release.
OVERALL SUMMARY
A really good example of how not to make a film, but a shining example of
how easy it is to succeed if you put in the work!
