Jon Keeyes followed up his well received debut feature ‘American Nightmare’ with this tale of a group of college students trapped in a haunted attraction when a spell turns them into the characters that their costumes represent.
The film started out well enough with good use of space and camera movement, but it took an hour for the action to kick in and the slow pace of the character development made the film boring.
The cast were mostly good especially Keeyes regular Brandy Little, but there wasn’t enough for the cast to do which meant that people would wander around having conversations, getting drunk and having sex for an hour.
This had a lot of potential and could have been a lot of fun, unfortunately the film just didn’t turn out good.
OVERALL SUMMARY
A competently made but boring film is hampered by an uneccessary slow pace.
