This low budget thriller which was released by Lions Gate Films, benefits from a quick pace and a good cast, but it’s just more of the same old stuff.
Paulina Porizkova plays a psychologist trapped in an asylum with an escaped serial killer known as ‘The Trasher’, and finds herself having to team up with an inmate in order to survive.
This film starts out quite well and manages to be entertaining throughout thanks to its lightning quick pace, but it is a little dumb in places and has that late night TV feel to it.
The cast of genre vets are good, especially Larry Drake who manages to create another disgusting screen villain to rival Dr. Giggles.
The biggest problem I had with this film was the terrible score. This truly did have the worst film score I have ever heard, it sounded really cheesy and didn’t suit the film at all.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Not many people who have seen this film have enjoyed it, but if you’re bored and don’t have too many expectations you might enjoy it.
