Whilst I have enjoyed previous movies from The Asylum, and their upcoming slate shows some promise, I’m afraid that this title was purely filler.
The writers have taken a largely unknown urban legend and have plucked a scenario from obscurity and ended up with this dull cross between ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ and ‘Dawn of the Dead’.
The film is corny as hell with major errors, a terrible yellow tint throughout, and some over the top acting from a bunch of unknowns.
The plot is boring, the characters are stupid, and the villain looks like at least three other horror monsters. There is absolutely no originality here whatsoever.
OVERALL SUMMARY
This really was atrocious and showed signs that The Asylum’s quick production rate may see them churn out a lot of filler projects just to have something on the go.
