I didn’t even know that this film existed until I saw it in Blockbuster. It was released by a good label, had a familiar cast and sounded as though it had potential so I gave it a shot.
The story sees student Doctor Eve set a challenge of six weeks to get into the mind of her patient in order to become a qualified psychologist. Her patient, Don, proves difficult however and gets into her head, messing with her chances of becoming a Doctor. As Eve finds herself being stalked, despised and generally just mindf*cked by all concerned, the film begins to show cracks and you can instantly guess the ending.
The film looked really good and had a good cast of familiar faces in it, but you could tell some of them were pulling favours for someone.
The film holds your interest for a little while but the visual clues are so overpowering that you can tell a mile off how this is going to end. Sure enough it continues on with every genre cliche in tow to a silly conclusion of almost preposterous proportions, that is completed by one of the worst make up jobs I have seen in recent years.
OVERALL SUMMARY
A nice try but it’s all been done before.
