Luc Bernierís first directorial effort is a 30 minute movie comprised of random shorts, all inspired by the main protagonistís titular Diary of Nightmares.

The shorts, like dreams themselves, range from clips a few seconds long to ten minutes. Never outstaying their welcome the nightmares involve murder, betrayal and spooky goings on and the cast of genre stars including Kimberly Lynn Cole, Lucien Eisenach, Steve Sessions, Kerri Taylor, Isabelle Stephen and Laura Giglio makes it an absolute joy to watch.

This bizarrely unique movie demonstrates how a simple idea can be turned into something entertaining and more importantly that it can be realized with little to no budget and some hard work from all concerned parties.

OVERALL SUMMARY
A fine debut effort, which hopefully acts as a sign of things to come from the next generation of horror stars, Diary of Nightmares is a project which true low budget horror fans would surely be dying to see.
