James Van Der Beek stars as Tom Russel, in this Clive Barker produced low rent horror and it’s basically a big fat Children of the Corn rip-off.

Ten years ago the world’s children fell into a deep coma. Cue the return of Tom Russel to town after serving time in prison for killing a man. He hopes to reconcile with his wife and make amends with his family and friends, but he ends up trying to save their lives.

The film starts out creepy enough but is just a rehash of every genre film we’ve ever seen from NOTLD to COTC to Mimic.

There are a few decent moments (one in particular that I like to call grab, twist, break) and the cast are quite good.

OVERALL SUMMARY
Nothing special but it's okay.
