Cerina Vincent stars in this creature run-amok film which sees two park rangers trapped in the woods, forced to fend for themselves when an unspeakable evil attacks.
The film looks gorgeous and has a likeable cast at its core, but the whole thing for me was ruined by an unnecessarily heavy romantic sub-plot which at times was in danger of taking over from the main plot.
Vincent and Dominic Zamprogna are likeable and do well, but apart from them, gorgeous scenery and effects work of a very high standard, you’ve seen it all before and with much less lovey-dovey mush thrown in.
OVERALL SUMMARY
It Waits is an okay way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon…just don’t expect too much of it and you should find it enjoyable enough.
