It's official people! The eighth season of 'Dexter' which is set to kick off this coming June will be the lovable serial killers final outing. Showrunner Scott Buck has already promised us an exciting which won't likely feature smiles, happiness and fluffy bunnies. "We're not going to end with Dexter walking off into the sunset." says Buck. Les Moonves, president of CBS, has revealed the close of the show during an investors call mentioning that this will indeed be the "last season". At least its nice to actually know now so we can accept it and move on and look forward to one heck of a finale season. Sean Patrick Flanery ('Saw 3D'), Charlotte Rampling ('Melancholia') and Nick Gomez ('Looper') are all joining the new season alongside Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter.
The final season of 'Dexter' premiere's on Showtime on 30th June 2013.
