AWESOME AUSSIE MELISSA GEORGE IS THE LATEST TO JOIN 'GOTHICA' SERIES

Our favourite Aussie hottie here at the Horror Asylum has signed on for her latest genre based credit. The gorgeous Melissa George (below), star of endless horror flicks such as 'The Amityville Horror', 'Turistas' (AKA 'Paradise Lost'), '30 Days of Night' and 'Triangle', has jumped onto ABC's new horror show 'Gothica' and is set to play "the series' most formidable force". Melissa will play Fiona Hunter, who is described as "deliciously cunning woman" by Deadline who reported the casting news. Actress Janet Montgomery plays Grace Van Helsing, a New York journalist who takes over her family's hometown newspaper. The series will be a monster mash-up of a variety of classic iconic horror characters such as Dracula, Frankenstein, Jekyll and Hyde and Dorian Gray. The series also stars Tom Ellis, Seth Gabel ('Fringe'), Tracie Thoms, Christopher Egan and Raza Jaffrey.
