IT'S TIME TO REFLECT ON THE HORROR'S OF THE FIRST 'EVIL DEAD' CLIP

It's slowly creeping up on us but the 'Evil Dead' remake from the original team that includes director Sam Raimi, producer Rob Tapert and star Bruce Campbell is almost upon us. Scheduled to hit US theatres on 5th April and featuring a whole host of new talent such as actors Jane Levy ("Suburgatory") and Shiloh Fernandez ('Red Riding Hood') along with directing talent Fede Alvarez its about time we had a glance at a first look clip. And bugger me sideways if that isn't exactly what we have for you here. Check out the new "Mirror" clip below. Jessica Lucas ('Cloverfield'), Lou Taylor Pucci ('Carriers') and Elizabeth Blackmore also star.

"Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead. An archaeologist's tape recording reveals that the ancient text was discovered among the Khandarian ruins of a Sumerian civilization. Playing the taped incantations, the youths unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival."

'Evil Dead' opens in UK theatres from 19 April.
