Nicholas Hoult (‘Jack the Giant Slayer’) plays ‘R’ the humanised flesh eater. Whilst Teresa Palmer (‘I Am Number Four’) effortlessly fills the role of the his love interest. ‘Warm Bodies’ will land on DVD and Blu-ray on 4 June in the US with some exciting bonus features (which you can check out below) and will then get a VOD run in early May. Rob Corddry (‘Hot Tub Time Machine’), John Malkovich (‘Burn After Reading’) and Lizzy Caplan (‘True Blood’) also star in the new zombie spin. Check out the Blu-ray artwork and features listed below.
“Warm Bodies is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor) and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.”
