HBO’s ‘True Blood’ might not be our cup of tea yet it still seems to be striding along as strong as ever. The sixth season begins this June and another new cast member has been added to the ever increasing credit list. ‘Brothers & Sisters’ and ‘Taken 2’ actor Luke Grimes (below) has signed on for a recurring role as newbie James “a circa ’70s-made vampire who is smart, spiritual and emotionally deeper than any other bloodsucker we’ve seen before”. Grimes is just one of the many newcomers to the show that already includes Amelia Rose Blaire (‘90210’), Jurnee Smollett (‘Friday Night Light’), Karolina Wydra (‘House’), Arliss Howard and Rutger Hauer (‘Hobo with a Shotgun’).
‘True Blood’ season 6 premieres 16 June over at HBO.
