2 NEW INSTALLMENTS DECLASSIFIED
The Sci-Fi Channel has announced that it has two new installments in development for its SCI FI DECLASSIFIED documentary series. Following up on the network’s earlier special THE ROSWELL CRASH: STARTLING NEW EVIDENCE from last year, the new shows will investigate another two high-profile UFO cases, both of which still remain unexplained to this day.
Hosted by Bryant Gumbel, the first two-hour documentary examines the events surrounding the 1965 UFO sighting at Kecksburg, PA. Witnesses claim to have seen a strange, brightly lit craft descend into the woods, and that the United States military recovered a strange object from where the craft may have landed.
In RENDLESHAM: THE UK’S ROSWELL, Gumbel presents evidence that something strange happened outside the U.S. military base situated in Rendelsham, England, in 1980. Both military and civilian eyewitnesses claim that a UFO landed near the base and that military observers were sent to gather evidence of the craft’s landing. Further heightening the mystery surrounding the Rendelsham sighting is the United Kingdom’s admission that it classified the military’s reports of the Rendelsham incident to avoid any scrutiny from the media.
Both documentaries will air on The Sci-Fi Channel this coming fall.
