As promised the new full length trailer for Kimberly Peirce’s remake of ‘Carrie’ has arrived following on from the briefly teased version provided by Entertainment Tonight earlier this week. Chloe Moretz (‘Dark Shadows’) slips into the prom dress this time around although she’s going to have one hell of a dry-cleaning bill in the morning. It’s still more than 6 months away so we’re sure there’ll be plenty more to enjoy between now and then. Julianne Moore (‘Hannibal’), Portia Doubleday (‘Youth in Revolt’), Alex Russell (‘Chronicle’), Ansel Elgort, Judy Greer (‘The Village’) and hottie Gabriella Wilde all co-star. Go below to view the new trailer.
“The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White and her daughter Carrie. Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson, but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell, regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.”
‘Carrie’ opens on 18th October 2013.
