Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and director Edgar Wright team up once more for out of this world action and comedy in the form of ‘The World’s End’. The brand new UK quad poster for the feature arrived over the bank holiday weekend featuring Pegg and Frost along with numerous and intriguing ‘alien’-like beings approaching in the background. Paddy Considine (‘Dead Man’s Shoes’), Eddie Marsan (‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’), Martin Freeman (‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’) and Rosamund Pike (‘Jack Reacher’) also star. The apocalyptic pub crawl comedy, arriving in UK theatres this July, will serve as the concluding chapter in the trio’s Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy which also includes rom-zom-com ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and comic cop caper ‘Hot Fuzz’. Head below to check out the new poster.
“20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell-bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.”
‘The World’s End’ opens in UK theatres on 19 July and on 23 August over in the US.
