The latest edition of Entertainment Weekly will be featuring some exclusive sneak peeks and pics from the upcoming fourth season of AMC’s hit horror series ‘The Walking Dead’. Amongst the exclusives comes this first image of new cast member Larry Gilliard Jr. in his new role as Bob Stookey. “His backstory is not entirely the same as in the comic and the novel,” explains showrunner Scott Gimple. “I think he’s seen things go bad over and over, and winding up in this stable place doesn’t shake him from his experience. He struggles with that.” The new season stars Andrew Lincoln (‘Teachers’), Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride, David Morrissey, Danai Gurira, Emily Kinney, Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Melissa Ponzio. Check out the new pic below and if you’re at this year’s Comic Con don’t forget ‘The Walking Dead’ panel will making an appearance tomorror!
“With his group in tatters, his sanity in question, and his own son questioning his every move, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) must somehow pull everyone together to face their greatest challenge — the Governor (David Morrissey). In order to survive, he must risk everything, including the group’s very humanity.”
