Yup, who'd have thought that a movie about flying sharks would have been one of the most talked about horror flicks of the year so far. In a world where a film's title often attracts more interest that the film itself 'Sharknado' was the latest b-movie experience from 'The Asylum' and 'SyFy'. It only premiered last week and has been shared and Tweeted about ever since. Mostly by those amazed at its ridiculous premise. The project is now set for a sequel due to what the channel describes as a "worldwide social media frenzy"(!). The follow up 'Sharknado 2' will arrive on SyFy next year and now its up to you to come up with the perfect subtitle! Fans can tweet their subtitle to @SyfyMovies using #Sharknado and Syfy will select the best submission as the subtitle for 'Sharknado 2'.
"In Sharknado, regulars of a beachside bar including owner Fin (Ian Ziering), bartender Nova (Cassie Scerbo) and local drunk George (John Heard/Home Alone) team up with Finís ex-wife April (Tara Reid) to investigate the ecological nightmare that has sharks swimming through the streets of Los Angeles and falling from the skies."
