Erik Van Looy’s self-directed remake of ‘The Loft’ was put on hiatus when Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment switched bases from Warner Bros and headed over to Universal. Now the switcheroo has been made its time to give this overlooked redo its day, which just so happens to be its new official release date of the 29 August 2014. The sexually orientated thriller stars James Marsden (‘Straw Dogs’), Wentworth Miller (‘Prison Break’), Karl Urban (‘Star Trek’), Eric Stonestreet (‘Modern Family’), Matthias Schoenaerts, Rachael Taylor (‘666 Park Avenue’), Valerie Cruz (‘True Blood’), Rhona Mitra (‘Doomsday’) and the awesome ass of Isabel Lucas -below (‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’).
“Five married men share a penthouse loft where they carry out their affairs and indulge in their deepest family secrets. Their fantasy turns into a nightmare when they discover the dead body of an unknown woman in the loft, and everyone becomes paranoid as they suspect one another of the crime.”
