The upcoming DVD/Blu-ray for the new special ‘Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th’ release has already been pushed back to September from its original slated 27 August slot. It’ll now arrive (conveniently) on 13 September with a general public release following on 8 October. This at least gives fans a little more time to save up their pocket money in order to purchase this fantastic 3-disc boxset. And if you weren’t already drooling in anticipation of seeing a 420 minute documentary as well as extended interviews with Robert Englund (‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’), Kane Hodder, Wes Craven (‘Scream’), Betsy Palmer and Sean S. Cunningham plus so many more then hopefully these newly released preview clips (6 in all) will push you right over the edge.

“In the 33 years since the original FRIDAY THE 13TH premiered in May of 1980, the slasher franchise has grown to include twelve feature films, a television series, novels, comic books, merchandise and memorabilia. In addition to staggering box office success, the films turned Jason Voorhees and his signature hockey mask into a pop culture icon. Now fans can get an in-depth look that spans the entire history from those involved.”
