British director Duncan Jones (‘Moon’, ‘Source Code’) is readying his epic video game adaptation ‘Warcraft’ with production still reportedly set to kick off in January 2014. Based on the hugely successful online multiplayer role-playing game ‘World of Warcraft’ the project is sure to be one of some magnitude. And with production just around the corner some key players need to be drawn in. Deadline have reported that both Colin Farrell (‘Total Recall’) and Paula Patton -below (‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’) have both been tapped for roles by Legendary Pictures. Patton’s part is currently in negotiation stages whilst Farrell’s is still up in the air. The movie adaptation is penned by Charles Leavitt (‘Seventh Son’) and is based on the story by game designer and vocal talent Chris Metzen.
