As things push forward for the Colin Trevorrow helmed ‘Jurassic World’, the highly anticipated fourth installment in the dino series, it appears that little ‘Insidious Chapter 2’ star Ty Simpkins has managed to score a leading role on the project. 12-year old Simpkins (below), who plays Dalton in the ‘Insidious’ franchise, also starred recently in superhero sequel ‘Iron Man 3’. ‘New Girl’ actor Jake Johnson and Bryce Dallas Howard (‘The Village’) are also in talks for roles in the latest chapter. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will all co-produce and Trevorrow will direct from his own script co-written along with Derek Connolly.
‘Jurassic World’ will arrive in theatres in 3D on 12 June 2015.
