A new teaser from the upcoming Drew Barrymore produced horror feature 'Animal' has appeared in the pages of Entertainment Weekly. The image features musical star Eve being grabbed by the mysterious predator. 'Animal' is directed by Brett Simmons who will be helming from a script penned by Thommy Hutson and Catherine Trillo. The project is an original feature from Chiller and stars Amaury Nolasco ('Prison Break'), Parker Young, Joey Lauren Adams ('Chasing Amy'), Elizabeth Gillies, Paul Iacono ('The Hard Times of R.J. Berger'), Thorsten Kaye ('Smash') and Jeremy Sumpter ('Friday Night Lights') and Keke Palmer ('True Jackson, VP'). 'Animal' will get a limited theatrical run and VOD release sometime in 2014.

"When plans for a weekend vacation hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, blood thirsty predator. Holed up in an isolated cabin, tensions mount as long-buried secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group must put their differences aside and fight for survival."
