With Tim Burton (‘Sleep Hollow’) reportedly shuffling things around in order to score a directing gig on long-awaited comedy horror sequel ‘Beetlejuice 2’ and actor Michael Keaton (‘White Noise’) keen to reprise his famous role as the ghost with the most all things are looking rosy for the new project. And now during a recent interview with The Daily Beast actress Winona Ryder, who played Lydia Deetz in the 1988 original, it appears that she may be making an appearance in the follow-up. You can check out what Winona had to say on the subject below.
“I’m kind of sworn to secrecy.” says Ryder “But it sounds like it might be happening…”It’s not a remake. It’s 27 years later. And I have to say, I love Lydia so much. She was such a huge part of me. I would be really interested in what she is doing 27 years later.”
