NEW INTERNATIONAL UK TRAILER AND FRESH IMAGES FROM 'ROBOCOP' REBOOT

Alex Murphy does some more concise killing in the new UK trailer for José Padilha's ('Elite Squad') upcoming 'RoboCop' reboot. No bad language and sadly not much bloodshed either in the new trailer or these brand new stills as expected due to it's disturbing PG-13 rating. However the remake still sports a certain level of badass-ism. Joel Kinnaman ('The Killing') takes the title role whilst he's backed up  by the fantastic supporting cast that includes Gary Oldman ('The Dark Knight Rises'), Michael Keaton ('Beetlejuice'), Samuel L. Jackson ('The Avengers'), Jackie Earle Haley ('A Nightmare on Elm Street'), Jay Baruchel ('The End of the World'), Abbie Cornish ('Sucker Punch'), Michael Kenneth Williams ('Boardwalk Empire'), Jennifer Ehle ('Zero Dark Thirty'), Marianne Jean-Baptiste ('The Cell') and the sexy Aimee Garcia ('Dexter'). "In RoboCop the year is 2029, and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the centre of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe, and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father, and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes its remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities but with issues a regular man has never had to face before."

'RoboCop' will open in the US and UK on 7 February 2014.
