Marlon Wayans is back in horror spoof sequel ‘A Haunted House 2’, which will hit theatres next March. The Open Road Films follow-up continues the gags and sees Michael Tiddes back to direct. EW have revealed a new teaser trailer from the project penned by Wayans and co-writer Rick Alvaraz which even though is brief still manages to cram in a number of references and spoofage of recent horror flicks such as ‘The Conjuring’, ‘Sinister’ and of course the ‘Paranormal Activity’ sequels. Jaime Pressly (‘My Name is Earl’), Gabriel Iglesias (‘Magic Mike’), Essence Atkins, Affion Crockett, Dave Sheridan, Ashley Rickards (‘Awkward’) and Cedric the Entertainer all co-star. You can check out the new teaser below.
“After losing his possessed girlfriend Kisha in a car crash, Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) meets and falls for Megan, a single white mother of two. As he moves into a new home with the family, Malcolm discovers bizarre paranormal events surrounding the children and the property. To complicate matters, a back-from-the-dead Kisha moves in across the street, and there’s nothing worse than the scorn of a demonic ex-girlfriend.”
‘A Haunted House 2’ opens on 28 March 2014.
