It appears that Chucky creator Don Mancini has confirmed that the deranged doll will be making yet another appearance in the 7th installment in the long-running series. Earlier this year the writer and director revived the character for ‘Curse of Chucky’ which helped breathe some life back into the tired toy story. Mancini took to Twitter to confirm “To the fans who’ve asked questions about Alice and the end of #CurseofChucky: All will be answered in part 7!”. So there you have it. Now, hopefully, some of those frustratingly unresolved questions from the end of ‘Curse of Chucky’ will have some welcome conclusion. I think we should take it as read that vocal talent Brad Dourif will return to voice our beloved good guy doll.
And in case you missed ‘Curse of Chucky’ here’s the rundown…
“After the events of Seed of Chucky, Nica, a young woman forced to a wheelchair since birth, has to regroup her sister, Barb and her brother-in-law, Ian for a funeral after the death of her mother. While dealing with Barb, Ian, along with their 5-year-old daughter, Alice; Nica receives an odd package – a creepy doll. After people start showing up dead, the fearless Nica soon suspects that the creepy doll is much more than just a doll.”
