FX president John Landgraf recently admitted that the fourth season of ‘American Horror Story’ was to be a “period piece”. The question was what period? Entertainment Weekly have been able to pinpoint the exact “period” spoken of after chatting with show creator Ryan Murphy. “It’s set in 1950,” he reveals. “If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year.” So what are we thinking? The Korean War? Communism? He added that “Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent…” This of course will mark Lange’s final appearance in the show. No word yet on which of the other series regulars will be back for new roles.
‘American Horror Story: Coven’ is currently airing over on FX on Wednesdays at 10/9c.
