‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ hottie Zoe Saldana is set to lead in the NBC and Lionsgate Television upcoming adaptation of ‘Rosemary’s Baby’. Casting had kicked off to uncover the ideal candidates to join the actress on the mini-series adapted from a script based on the original novel by Ira Levin. And the parts go to Patrick J. Adams (‘Suits’) who’ll star in the male lead role whilst British actor Jason Isaacs -below (‘Harry Potter’) joins the cast as coven-leader Roman Castevet. Agnieszka Holland (‘The Killing’) will be directing from a script adapted by Scott Abbott (‘Queen of the Damned’) and James Wong (‘Final Destination’).
“This version of the story will revolve around a young married couple who move into a Paris apartment that has a haunted past. After getting pregnant, the wife becomes increasingly suspicious that both her husband and their neighbors will have ulterior motives when her child is born.”
