Formerly referred to as ‘Paris I’ll Kill You’ the new and upcoming horror anthology ‘Fear Paris’ has been on the radar for nearly 4 years now. Back in the day it was a planned 10 segment anthology with a whole host of great genre directors at the helm each taking on their own tale. ‘Splice’ director Vincenzo Natali was already talking about his planned segment ‘Ready to Eat’. Now here we are in early 2014 and it seems only Joe Dante (‘Gremlins’) and Xavier Gens (‘Frontier(s)’) remain from the original directorial lineup. ‘Iron Sky’ helmer Timo Vuorensola has joined the project and now a new sales trailer has finally been made public with the promise that the project will officially slip into production this Summer/Autumn time, with casting already underway.
The trailer itself, found below, is a full 3 minutes plus in length and even includes the former title said right at the end. A couple of years back we saw a batch of photos from the production which included the fearful mimes featured in this new trailer. We have to assume that most of this was shot quite a while back and the footage has been sitting on a shelf for some time.
“The genre-bending and connected stories will present a Paris unlike anything seen before in a combination of fantasy, horror, and science fiction.”
