After all the speculation in the past few months as to where hit FX horror series ‘American Horror Story’ would be heading for its intended fourth season in 2014 we appear to have a committed setting. Rumour was that the actors and action would be moving into carnival territory and now writer Douglas Petrie has confirmed the theme. Talking with the Nerdist Writers Panel podcast and with the question of the carnival setting put to him Petrie responded “Yes, it does not have a title. That’s the idea, very roughly that’s the idea.” We already know the series is to be set in the 1950’s according to co-creator Ryan Murphy and that returning player Jessica Lange was working on her German accent. So travelling circus perhaps? Or something based around the Circus Krone Building in Germany? The speculation continues.
‘American Horror Story’ will return for its fourth run this Fall.
