At last we get a great new batch of ape-based stills hot from Matt Reeves’ upcoming simian sequel ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’. The new pics come courtesy of USA Today and they certainly make a change from the stack of MoCap ones we’ve seen to date. This time we get plenty of monkey business and some fresh poses from stars Jason Clarke (‘Zero Dark Thirty’) and Gary Oldman (‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’). DOTPOTA also stars Keri Russell (‘Dark Skies’) Kodi Smit-McPhee (‘ParaNorman’), Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo (‘Fringe’), Judy Greer (‘Archer’), Andy Serkis (‘The Hobbit’) and Toby Kebbell (‘Black Mirror’). Head below to check out the new stills.
“A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.”
‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ opens on 11 July 2014.
