Jeff Baena’s new zombie comedy horror ‘Life After Beth’ is all set to arrive in limited theatres across the US this Summer. A24 who picked up the distribution rights earlier this year have announced that the feature will be released on 15 August 2014 pitting up against the likes of action sequel ‘The Expendables 3’. ‘Life After Beth’ stars Aubrey Plaza (‘Safety Not Guaranteed’), Dane DeHaan (‘Chronicle’), Anna Kendrick (‘Up in the Air’), John C. Reilly, Alia Shawkat (‘Arrested Development’), Cheryl Hines (‘Curb your Enthusiasm’) and Molly Shannon. DirecTV will also be able to screen the movie for 30 days before the theatrical release.
“Zach is devastated after his girlfriend, Beth, unexpectedly dies. When she suddenly rises from the dead, he sees it as a second chance and decides to do and say every thing he wishes he had while she was still alive.”
