Independent Aussie thriller ‘Lead Me Astray’ is scheduled for release later this year and a fresh batch of images from the Bendy Spoon Production have landed right under our noses. The project comes from writer and director Tom Danger and was put together on a shoestring budget of just $10,000AUD. The movie is being lined up for a 2014 release and takes it’s cues “from atmosphere-heavy and synth-driven films of the 1970’s and 80’s such as John Carpenter’s ‘Assault on Precinct 13’ and Dario Argento’s ‘Suspiria'”. ‘Lead Me Astray’ stars Jace Pickard, Alannah Robertson, Tim Page, Logan Webster and Addi Craig. Head below to check out the new images as well as another look at the trailer.
“From director Tom Danger, comes the story of a young veterinary student, Alexis Willard, as a single actor of violence causes his life to come crashing down around him, putting the one person he loves in unspeakable danger as his mysterious past claws its way back into his present.”
