The seventh and final season of HBO's hit horror series 'True Blood' arrives on screens late next month and Sookie Stackhouse is definitely sad of this fact. A new teaser poster for the final season has been revealed by the network featuring the forementioned Miss Stackhouse (played by Anna Paquin) shedding a bloody tear. Whether this has any major significance on how the show will finally play out is still a mystery but could certainly indicate a major death or 'conversion' at the very least. Alexander Skarsgård ('Battleship'), Ryan Kwanten and Stephen Moyer also star. Check out the new poster below.
"Mixing romance, suspense, mystery and humor, the series takes place in a world where vampires and humans co-exist, after vampires have come out of the coffin, thanks to the invention of mass-produced synthetic blood that means they no longer need humans as a nutritional source. The series follows waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people's thoughts, vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard)."
The final season begins on Sunday 22 June at 9:00pm.
