The new upcoming ‘Terminator’ film may have just dropped its subtitle. The Alan Taylor helmed sequel was originally being touted around town as ‘Terminator: Genesis’, pointing towards its ‘origin’-esque setup. But according to the folks over as Bleeding Cool it seems that Paramount have been marking down relevant licensing, merchandise, and tie-in movie toys for the project simply as ‘Terminator’. So with no sign of the word ‘Genesis’ anywhere to be seen does this mean we have on our hands another annoyingly titled movie that simply decides to drop a ‘The’ to help differentiate itself from the franchise original? Yuck.
The squel stars Emilia Clarke -below (‘Game of Thrones’), Jai Courtney (‘A Good Day to Die Hard’), Jason Clarke (‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’), Byung-hun Lee, Matt Smith (‘Doctor Who’), Aaron V. Williamson, Dayo Okeniyi, J.K. Simmons and of course Arnold Schwarzenegger.
‘Terminator: Genesis’ hits theatres on 1 July 2015.
