Edgar Allan Poe’s classic tale of good old-fashioned switcheroo based shenanigans “The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether” has been adapted into Brad Anderson’s (‘The Call’) latest mystery thriller ‘Stonehearst Asylum’. Formerly titled ‘Eliza Graves’ the adaptation stars Kate Beckinsale (‘Underworld: Awakening’), Jim Sturgess (‘Heartless’), Michael Caine (‘The Dark Knight Rises’), Ben Kingsley (‘Lucky Number Slevin’), David Thewlis (‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′) and Brendan Gleeson (’28 Days Later’) and the brand new trailer has been unveiled which you can check out in all its glory below.
“Eliza Graves is a patient at a mental institution in which the inmates have taken over and are posing as doctors. She becomes the object of affection of a newly arrived Harvard Medical School grad who has no idea of the topsy-turvy world he just entered.”
‘Stonehearst Asylum’ is released in theatres and On Demand from 24 October.
