Arriving in homes post-Christmas at the end of next month is Kevin Smith’s twisted monster movie ‘Tusk’. It’ll be getting the typically common same day triple release across Blu-ray, DVD and VOD on 30 December with the home entertainment release coming complete with a few special features. One of which includes the original podcast (or SModcast) where the concept of the movie is discussed between director Smith and co-host producing partner Scott Mosier. ‘Tusk’ stars Justin Long (‘Drag Me To Hell’), Michael Parks (‘Red State’), Haley Joel Osment (‘The Sixth Sense’) and Genesis Rodriguez (‘Man on a Ledge’). Head below to check out the Blu-ray artwork.
“A podcaster (Long) looking for a juicy story is plunged into an unpredictable, unsettling and absurd nightmare after he travels to the backwoods of Canada to meet an eccentric recluse (Parks) with a lifetime of adventures-and a disturbing fondness for walruses.”
Here’s a quick rundown of special features that’ll be included in the home release:
– Deleted Scenes
– Audio Commentary with Writer/Director Kevin Smith
– “20 Years to Tusk” featurette
– “The Making of Tusk” featurettes
– SModcast #259: The Walrus and The Carpenter
