Brit star Matt Smith’s post-‘Doctor Who’ work is certainly building momentum. Having already landed parts in Alan Taylor’s ‘Terminator: Genisys’ as well as the forthcoming feature adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ the 32-year old actor has now been signed up for Stefan Ruzowitzky’s horror thriller ‘Patient Zero’. Smith will star alongside the gorgeous Natalie Dormer (‘Game of Thrones’, ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’) in the pandemic shocker. Having already enjoyed a theatrical stint as Patrick Bateman in the London-based ‘American Psycho’ musical Smith is fast becoming a bit of a horror icon. We wonder what’s next?
“After an unprecedented global pandemic has turned the majority of humankind into violent “Infected,” a man gifted with the ability to speak the Infected’s new language leads the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.”
