For quite some time now Telltale games have been producing amazing story-driven games already based on successful franchises such as Batman, The Walking Dead and even Minecraft. They always manage to be able to take an already successful story and take it to the next level, and clearly prove that they’re capable of anything they set their mind to. But what will that mean for future releases? Here are a few suggestions of what we could expect from them in the not-so-distant future.
MISTBORN
A possible adaptation of Mistborn into the TellTale universe could really be a welcome idea for readers and gamers alike. Brandon Sanderson wrote the series that focuses on a gang of thieves that want to overthrow the emperor of the area, who ruled for more than 1000 years. This period of 1000 years gives TellTale enough space to do what they do best and develop narratives around characters that focus outside and give an entire twist to the whole idea.
FALLOUT
There are a lot of opportunities available for TalleTale when it comes to adapting on a series like Fallout. For example, the everlasting conflict between the Enclave and the Brotherhood of Steel could be easily turned into an episodic story. With so much room to play with and a lot of loose ends to be picked up, a possible link between TalleTale and Fallout would result in some epic gaming material. But until that happens, you can simply enjoy some casual games and even find phone casino at this site.
WESTWORLD
Just like they did with The Walking Dead, TellTale could switch their attention to another great TV show that combines a western theme with a sci-fi approach. If you think about the possibilities for adapting the story of the TV show into a computer game, you won’t have to do a lot of thinking. There are a lot of interesting characters and backstories to be explored. Of course, there are a lot of legal and paperwork obstacles in the way of something like this happening, but fans are still hoping.
DEUS EX
Even though the Deus Ex gaming series already enjoy a lot of success, when it comes to the storyline of the releases, there are some grey areas that could use a bit of TalleTale touch. The franchise started in 2000 with what was then called the best RPG game, continued with another release in 2003 that didn’t quite live up to the expectations, and then the story of the game went back, before the events of the first release only to cut it short with the 2016 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. There’s a lot of material to work with and, judging by recent TalleTale work, fans would be out of their mind with what they’ll do to the original story. But yet again, they will have to keep in mind that this is just a speculation and turning the idea into reality takes a lot of effort and a lot of things have to synchronize in order for a collaboration like this to take place.
All in all, it’s no denying that TalleTale has the power to turn into gold any kind of story they work with. It’s just a matter of time until they announce their future projects and the whole world is waiting impatiently.
