KING’S BRAND NEW COLUMN
The jury is still out as to whether or not Stephen King will actually stop writing novels once the final ‘Dark Tower’ book is released, but we now know he sure as hell isn’t going to stop writing.
King has just signed a deal with Entertainment Weekly to pen a brand-new column every week in which he will focus on the latest ‘hip’ stuff, from movies to television to novels by other authors. The new column will be called ‘The Pop of King’ (get it? It’s juxtaposed!) and debuts in todays issue!
Being the funny guy the he is, in the intro for the column he states the magazine had asked him to review ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ for them a few months ago, and the editors came back asking him to do a weekly gig, because either they liked the review or were impressed that he did it long hand.
