Tom Sizemore hinted in an interview with Dark Horizons back in May he may be doing this film adaptation of the Stephen King novel, and now its confirmed. The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Sizemore and 'Deep Blue Sea' actor Thomas Jane have joined the cast of the Lawrence Kazdan-helmed project based on King's book about four friends whose annual trip into the snow-covered North one year results in the group trying to stop an alien infestation. Jane will play the main hero character of the book - suicidal psychiatrist Henry Devlin, whilst Sizemore will play Lt. Underhill - the main assistant of the rough Col. Kurtz (Morgan Freeman) who gets caught in a dilemma over loyalty to him. Production begins in Vancouver this January.
