SPOOK-A-THON GOES TO MAINE
Its getting to the point where practically every state is hosting its own Halloweentime horror festival or similar event. The latest to crop up is the 1st Annual Maine Spook-a-thon, to be held October 24-31 at the Railroad Square Cinema in Waterville. The four classic thrillers being shown, each for two nights at 9:30 p.m., are CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (in 3-D!), REAR WINDOW, THE OMEN and THE EXORCIST. Door prizes donated by various film studios will be given out 15 minutes before each screening; tickets will be sold one hour prior to each movie, or you can pick up festival passes at the theater, Harbor Audio Video and Wild Rufus in Camden, Second Read in Rockland and Pavlovs Music in Augusta, or at www.VillageSoup.com/clicktix For more information, check out the Railroad Squares website.
