DAVID DeCOTEAU SAILS TO CARIBBEAN
Busy director David DeCoteau just got back from the sunny locations of his latest film, WITCHES OF THE CARIBBEAN. We shot in the Turks and Caicos Islands, DeCoteau tells Fango. Its about a group of kids who are having the same nightmare, and find that theyre all descendants of the original inhabitants of this island, who killed a witch hundreds of years ago. Needless to say, the witch comes back with a vengeance. Actress Jana K. (CHILDREN OF THE DARK) Arnold wrote the script, and the movie stars Joanna (BLADE RUNNER) Cassidy and Canadian genre veteran Helene Udy, the victim of the showerhead murder in MY BLOODY VALENTINE. WITCHES was produced by Regent Entertainment, which also backed DeCoteaus previous BROTHERHOOD series and WOLVES OF WALL STREET and the upcoming RING OF DARKNESS, which has been picked up by DEJ for release next year.
