LAST HORROR GETS NO ‘R’
The Creature Corner originally reported on a new indie film called The Last Horror Movie back in November, when Fango announced they’d be handling the release (theatrical and otherwise) of the film here in the states. Yesterday word came down from the filmmakers that the MPAA has refused to give Last Horror an ‘R’ rating.
They did give the option of an ‘NC17’, but damnit ‘Unrated’ just sounds cooler. So no cuts will be made to the reportedly very disturbing serial killer movie that takes a Man Bites Dog approach to it’s story.
The film will be making it’s way through the the festival circuit for most of the year, so don’t expect a theater listing anytime soon.
