THUNDER HILLS READY TO RUMBLE
Kentucky-based Tourniquet Films is readying its first feature, THUNDER HILLS, to roll this June. Written and directed by Randy Robinson, the movie centers on the titular sanatorium, where in the past, thousands of people succumbed to tuberculosis and numerous patients died mysteriously years later when it became a mental health clinic. It has been shuttered for 30 years, and now five film school students are assigned to shoot a documentary on the place, which, needless to say, is supposedly haunted. The group soon discovers that the legends of evil spirits are true, and they continue to terrorize the youths even after they flee Thunder Hills and return to town. Robinson will also star, along with Jesi Smith and Amber and Mistie Morris; Bobbie Weiner, a.k.a. Bloody Mary, is serving as makeup FX consultant.
