SATAN?S LITTLE HELPER TRIBECA DEBUT
Director Jeff (SQUIRM, BLUE SUNSHINE) Lieberman just revealed to Fango that SATAN?S LITTLE HELPER, his first genre feature in nearly two decades, will have an auspicious premiere at New York?s Tribeca Film Festival. ?We finished SATAN?S LITTLE HELPER last Thursday, and someone snuck it to the Tribeca festival people,' Lieberman tells us. 'This is only their third year, and it?s unusual for them to play a horror movie, but they really flipped over it. They told us it?ll show on either a Friday or a Saturday; they call it the midnight screening?that?s the program it?s in?but that?s not literally the time they show it. It?ll be prime time?a 9 p.m. screening on one of those nights.?
SATAN?S LITTLE HELPER is about a psychopathic killer (Joshua Annex) who dresses in a demon costume and wreaks havoc in a small town on Halloween night. A little boy, Douglas (Alex Brickel), obsessed with the titular video game decides to assist in his reign of terror, not aware at first that the violence is real. Amanda Plummer co-stars as Douglas? mom and Katheryn (HELLRAISER: HELLWORLD) Winnick plays his college-age sister. Look for a SATAN?S set visit in the pages of Fango later this year.
