MORE HELLBOY ON THE WAY?
Creature Corner reports:
'Not being a sports fan, and even less so a fan of Tom Arnold, it's not surprising that I didn't catch Ron Perlman on the most recent episode of 'The Best Damn Sports Show Ever'. Had I known he was going to be on that wouldn't have happened, but that's what our kick ass readers are for.
Perlman discussed the success of Hellboy at the box office, and said that Sony is likely to be gearing up for a sequel based on the first weekend's numbers alone. Not too shabby for the Big Red Guy, I just hope you were all good enough to keep it going and go see it again and again. I know I'm going to.
To back this up, a poster over on the Hellsite message boards put up some info from MSN this morning, in which producer Larry Gordon announced that there would be no Tomb Raider 3 (surprise) and that there are 'several more' installments of Hellboy planned. I'm not sure if that means the studio is actually behind the idea of more than one more or if they, the producers, would just like to do more. Either way, we're going to benefit.
Nothing's official til it comes from Revolution, obviously.'
